Not much of an update but here it goes.
John was "denied" entrance into BYU. I've cried, he got depressed-its been hard news to understand. BYU-Idaho put him on the very track when he will be sending in mission papers so that didn't work out either--you know the routine, I cried, he got depressed. Plans are to attend FSU in fall. John will turn 19 on Dec. 29 and hopefully put in mission papers---if not--- I'll cry and be extremely depressed.
Nicholas is smiling with a cap in place---looks much better. He took the ACT and did ok but if he would just study a bit he could improve. He has had his BSA Eagle Court of Honor and recieved his Eagle badge. I'm sooo proud of his achievement!!!!!He has alot of great skills. He will do well in life as he matures and testimony strengthens.
Madison is busy with teenager activities. Friends, texting, computer and every now and then cleans her room. Pre-Algebra grade is improving. Anxiously awaiting YW girls camp and turning 14 in late October.
Marriage is hard. I cry, I get depressed.

Posting to say I have little to post.  Nicholas was in a kneeboarding accident and lost a tooth and had to have stitches inside and outside of his mouth.  He bit through his skin in the mid-section of his lower lip, therefore the stitches.  I'm glad thats all that happened---I'm glad he's safe.
John played in the Suess Honor Band at Troy State this weekend.  They/he did a wonderful job. Schools from about a two hundred mile radius send their top band students and they practice for about 6 hrs total and then put on their concert last night.  It was just great.  John also received his email stating that he has been accepted to BYU-Idaho but is hoping to get into BYU Provo but won't know till the end of February.  Good job John.  Madison is working on being sweet.  Lets hope that works out!

4th of July-A wonderful time was had at my sisters home in Tally.  There was plenty of good food, family and friends.  The evening fireworks were a "blast".  After all was said and done we worked hard to get the home back in order.  Prior forth of July celebrations have been in Provo and local settings.  They are all enjoyed---unless you get to close to the discharge area and you get an eyeful of ashes--not recommended!!!

Hi to one and all.  This is new for me but my nieces blog so I thought I might give it a try.  This may be of no interest to anyone but me but that will do for now.  If anything I hope to learn to express myself better and adequatly detail events in my life.  blah, blah, blah.  I'm just really trying to learn to use the computer!  How do I even use this spell checker?  I'm sure I spelled adequatly wrong?  I was right.  The old dictionary came in handy---it's  ADEQUATELY.
